Brian_McHaleBrian McHale

Agency Principal Chief Executive Officer

Brian McHale is a well-known and accomplished name in the marketing industry.  As President, Brian stays at the forefront of emerging trends and issues in the rapidly-changing discipline to ensure that Sunrise is well-positioned to lead our clients into the future and help them continue to be leaders in their fields.

He has been in the industry for more than 20 years and was President of Empower MediaMarketing for nearly 10 years prior to becoming owner of Sunrise in January 2009.  During his tenure, Brian has had the pleasure of partnering with such brands as: LensCrafters, Kao/Jergens, Dick's Sporting Goods and US Bank.

Brian has earned recognition for his top-notch approaches and results, including being named the 2004 Media Maven by Advertising Age as well as being named to the Business Courier of Cincinnati’s “Top 40 Under 40” list and to the Young Presidents’ Organization.

Outside of his family and Sunrise, Brian’s other passion is music, specifically making music on the drums!

“Over the years, I have seen a number of marketers who are completely reactionary versus trying to get ahead of the competition and lead their categories with well-thought out strategy.   Whether it’s when I’m talking with our marketing partners, clients or within our own organization, I am passionate about asking the questions that might push people out of their comfort zone.  Things are changing too fast to wait until you have 100% of the answers.  If you can get close to 80%, go for it!” - Brian
